Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome to St. Mary’s School ! As we stand on the threshold of the new academic year, I extend a very warm welcome to all Parents and my dear Students. At St. Mary’s School, we believe that all students are gifted learners and our desire is to help them learn in the best way they can to nurture them as life-long learners. We will strive to offer an abundance of opportunities for students to experience, learn, explore their strengths and to hone their skills for their successful future. As the Principal of the school, I feel honoured and privileged to be a part of an Educational Institution where every individual is a learner and every day is an opportunity to learn and discover. We would like to create a community of learners, where everyone learns, including us indeed. Creating a habitat of Learning for the 21st century learner is the most engaging, enriching and empowering engagement a community undertakes. I wish to invite Parents, as collaborators in this endeavour. I look forward to working with you and developing a relationship that will assist in the growth of your child. Every student will be taught to redefine success – not by the absence of failures in life but by overcoming them and converting these stumbling blocks to stepping stones for success. Students will be involved in collaborative learning and building positive relationships to equip them for success in the world of the future where problem solving, working in teams, communicating, creating and innovating are not only cherished concepts, but expected skills, attributes and capabilities. We appreciate individualism and try to inculcate confidence in our students. Our aim is to nurture the child into self-motivated individual. We will continue to strive in producing reliable citizens of the country who will go out into the world and make us proud. I am certain that with the support of staff, parents and students the school will reach greater heights in the years to come.
